Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov (Russian: Хабиб Абдулманапович Нурмагомедов; Avar: ХIабиб ГӀабдулманапил НурмухӀамадов; born September 20, 1988) is a Russian mixed martial artist of Avar descent. He is a two-time Combat Sambo World Champion and currently holds the longest undefeated streak in MMA, with 27 wins. The reigning UFC Lightweight Champion, he is the first Russian and the first Muslim to win a UFC title. As of September 24, 2018, he is ranked #8 in the official UFC pound-for-pound rankings.
