During the gala, the AMPAS will present Academy Awards (commonly referred to as Oscars) in 23 categories, honoring films released in 2024. The ceremony will be televised in the United States by ABC and simultaneously live-streamed on Hulu, the first Academy Awards ceremony to be broadcast as such. Comedian and podcaster Conan O'Brien is set to host the show for the first time, with Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan returning as executive producers.
