Nimrod (Hebrew: נִמְרוֹד) is a small Israeli settlement organized as a moshav, in the Golan Heights on the southern slopes of Mount Hermon, and is the highest such civilian settlement in Israeli-controlled territory at 1,110 meters (3,640 ft) above sea level. Located near the Israeli settlement of Neve Ativ and the Druze towns of Majdal Shams, Mas'ade, and Ein Qiniyye, it falls under the jurisdiction of Golan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 16. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.
