The film premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on November 3, 2021, and was theatrically released in the United States on November 24 over a 30-day theatrical run, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It received positive reviews from critics but underperformed commercially due to the shortened release frame, grossing over $194 million against a break-even point of $400 million.
