Brenda Song (born March 27, 1988) is an American actress. She began her career in show business as a child fashion model, and her early acting work included roles in the television series Fudge (1995) and 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd (1999). After many commercials and television roles in the late 1990s, Song appeared in The Ultimate Christmas Present (2000) and won a Young Artist Award for her performance. In 2002, she signed a contract with Disney Channel and starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Get a Clue (2002). She went on to make significant contributions to the network, including starring in films such as Stuck in the Suburbs (2004), Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior (2006), and many other productions. Song went on to portray the lead female role of London Tipton in the comedy series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005–2008), and later reprised the role on the spinoff series The Suite Life on Deck (2008–2011). Song made her transition into mainstream film and television from 2010, appearing in the critically acclaimed biographical drama The Social Network (2010). She had recurring roles in numerous television series, including the ABC political thriller Scandal (2012–13), and the Fox sitcom New Girl, as well as a starring role on Dads (2013). In October 2014, she signed a talent holding deal with Fox and 20th Century Fox Television to star in a future television project. Song was subsequently cast in several television pilots for NBC and CBS, including the CBS medical drama series Pure Genius (2016–17), and went on to appear in multi-episode arcs of the action drama series Station 19 (2018–2020). Since 2019, Song has voiced the lead role of Anne Boonchuy in the Disney Channel animated series Amphibia and starred as Madison Maxwell in the Hulu comedy-drama series Dollface. She also starred in the short indie drama film First Kiss (2012), the romantic comedy film Angry Angel (2017), the psychological thriller film Secret Obsession (2019), and the comedy-drama film Changeland (2019).
