Andrew R. Jassy (born January 13, 1968) is an American businessman and the CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS). He is also one of the minority owners of the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League. Jassy has led AWS since its inception in 2003. Jassy will replace Jeff Bezos as CEO of Amazon in the third quarter of 2021; Bezos will become executive chairman. Jassy is also the chairman of Rainier Prep, a charter school in Seattle.
